David R. Williams

David Williams is a litigation associate in the Newport Beach office of Hueston Hennigan LLP. His practice focuses on complex litigation and internal investigations.

Mr. Williams began his legal career at Hogan Lovells in San Francisco. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and was an Editor of the Virginia Law Review. He also served as an extern for the Honorable William T. Thurman on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah. Mr. Williams completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University with a B.S. in English, Literary Studies.

Mr. Williams also has a robust pro bono practice, having represented a United States citizen who had deportation proceedings wrongfully initiated against him before the Ninth Circuit, and a death row inmate in an Eighth Amendment challenge against the Commonwealth of Virginia.
