Stanley Chen is a litigation associate at Hueston Hennigan LLP. His practice focuses on high-stakes, complex litigation, patent litigation, and white collar defense. Mr. Chen has experience litigating cases at all stages. He has written briefs, conducted discovery and witness interviews, and prepared witnesses for deposition and examination at trial.

Among his matters, Mr. Chen currently represents the State Bar of California in multiple lawsuits filed by former high-ranking employees. The wide-ranging suits implicate California statutes, constitutional principles, and tort, employment, and contract law. Prior to joining Hueston Hennigan, Mr. Chen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy Dyk of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Chen earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and his B.A. in philosophy, with honors, from the University of Chicago.
