Asim Zaidi is an associate who handles complex commercial litigation matters. Before joining Hueston Hennigan, he clerked for the Hon. Mary H. Murguia of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and for the Hon. Trina L. Thompson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. He also previously served as a legal extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, and he worked as an associate and assistant national bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury.
In law school, Mr. Zaidi served as production editor of both the UCLA Law Review and the Journal of International Law & Foreign Affairs. He was a Michael T. Masin Scholar, a Shepard Broad Scholar and a 1L Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Scholar, among distinctions for top academic performance.
