Emma Montoya is an associate whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Hueston Hennigan, Ms. Montoya clerked for the Hon. Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Hon. Roy K. Altman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also served as a fellow in Florida’s Office of the Solicitor General.
In law school, Ms. Montoya was a judicial extern for the Hon. Robert E. Bacharach of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and served as submissions editor for the Yale Journal of International Law. She was also a Kerry Fellow and a Kirby Simon Summer Fellow at the European Court of Human Rights, among other activities.
