Gavin R. Scott’s practice is focused on commercial litigation. Before joining Hueston Hennigan, he was a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas W. Thrash, Jr. of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
During law school, Mr. Scott served as an Edward Coles Administrative Law Fellow at the Illinois Human Rights Commission and a student attorney at the Human Trafficking Clinic and the Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic. He was comments editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform. Mr. Scott earned a Certificate of Merit in Constitutional Law, was a quarterfinalist in an Oral Advocacy Competition, and was a John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellow.
