Joohwan Kim focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Hueston Hennigan, Mr. Kim was a law clerk to the Hon. Daniel P. Collins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. Karin J. Immergut of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He also previously worked as a litigation associate at Michigan-based Kanji & Katzen.
In law school, Mr. Kim was a James Kent Scholar and served as an articles editor for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and as a teaching fellow, research assistant, and Columbia Law School Writing Center Fellow. He also interned for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Tribal Justice and launched a literacy intervention program at a Bay Area elementary school as an AmeriCorps member.
