Lauren Border focuses her practice on high-stakes business disputes, complex litigation, and white-collar investigations.
Prior to joining Hueston Hennigan, Ms. Border served as an inaugural law clerk to the Hon. Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha for eighteen months in one of the busiest judicial districts in the country, assisting the Judge with both civil and criminal matters.
Ms. Border was a litigation associate at Fenwick & West LLP from 2019-2021, where she defended a multinational company from allegations that a common household technology violated criminal statutes of several states.
While in law school, Ms. Border interned for both the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office and the Northern District of California United States Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division, gaining valuable in-court experience. She also served as the special issue editor for the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
