As described by CNN, “Amazon secured a major legal victory in its fight with rival eBay over seller poaching, with an arbitration panel ruling in its favor earlier this month.”
eBay asserted broad claims for fraud, civil RICO, breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, and violation of Washington’s Consumer Protection Act, among others. After a two week trial, “the panel denied all of eBay’s claims.”
The trial took place in September 2020.
