Former Hueston Hennigan partner Alexander Giza was nominated to serve as an associate justice in the Second District Court of Appeal, Division Three by Governor Gavin Newsom.
Judge Giza has served in the Los Angeles County Superior Court since 2019. He was a founding partner of Hueston Hennigan.
The position requires confirmation by the Commission on Judicial Appointments and is effective October 11, 2026.
