Hueston Hennigan recently prevailed on behalf of Bausch Health Companies (f/k/a Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc.), winning a motion for judgment on the pleadings in a trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract case before the Honorable Josephine L. Staton in the Central District of California.
The plaintiffs filed this action nearly three years ago, in June 2016. The Hueston team took over the case in late February 2018, aggressively pursued discovery and moved strategically to bring the action to an end. “The judge’s thorough order reflects a complete victory for our client Bausch, in a case in which the plaintiffs sought over $100 million in damages,” explained partner Moez M. Kaba.
