Navajo Nation is Awarded $220 million Contract to Cleanup Mines

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded three major contracts for the cleanup of abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Nation.

The award is another $220 million of the $1 billion we secured for the Navajo Nation in litigation against Kerr McGee and Anadarko in 2015.
