The Daily Journal has named Alison Plessman to the list of 2019 “Top Women Lawyers ” in California. This marks the third consecutive year and the fourth time in five years she has been honored as one of the state’s most accomplished female lawyers.
The Daily Journal cited Ms. Plessman’s defense of Hong Kong investment company Dong Yin Development in a RICO claim in cases involving the development and launch of satellites intended to provide telecommunications to Sub-Saharan Africa.
The newspaper also noted her representation of Edison International and Southern California Edison in proceedings stemming from the Thomas Fire in Venture and Santa Barbara counting, and in litigation arising from the recent Montecito mudslides.
