John Hueston also received the Los Angeles Attorney of the Year award for the second year in a row. John was recognized for his outstanding trial advocacy and for a stellar year representing Elon Musk in defeating his SEC contempt motion; securing a complete defense verdict for Caltech in a $65 million+ tortious interference and whistleblower case; and for McGlashan’s vigorous fight in the Varsity Blues college scandal.
Hueston Hennigan also received an “Impact Case of the Year” award for obtaining a unanimous 9-0 opinion at the Supreme Court of the United States in favor of Nutraceutical Corporation in a case that has significant implications for class actions practice.
The winners were selected based upon extensive research conducted between March and November 2019.
