Camp and Walsh Named to the LABJ’s list of “Thriving in Their 40s”

Mr. Camp, a founding partner of Hueston Hennigan LLP, is a former federal prosecutor and experienced trial lawyer. Mr. Camp has represented companies and individuals in connection with high stakes business litigation, and in defense of criminal and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions. As noted by Chambers, “[he] is in the category of a very small handful of attorneys who command the courtroom, the boardroom and any meeting they’re in.”

Mr. Walsh represents clients in complex civil business disputes, high-stakes environmental and entertainment litigation, and white collar criminal actions, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Walsh currently represents the Navajo Nation in federal multi-district litigation against the USEPA and its contractors for damages arising out of the August 2015 Gold King Mine spill, and Southern California Edison in complex litigation arising out of the 2018 Woolsey Fire.

The Los Angeles Business Journal recognized skilled business professionals – accountants, attorneys, bankers, real estate experts, health care providers, insurance professionals or some other form of trusted advisor – many of whom happen to be in their 40s.

Victory for BlackBerry In Civil Extortion and Unfair Competition Claims

As John Hueston noted to Law360, “MobileIron’s agreement to pay BlackBerry’s legal fees “completely vindicates” the propriety of BlackBerry’s licensing practices.”

MobileIron had alleged that BlackBerry was infringing four of its mobile security technology patents and that BlackBerry had violated California’s civil extortion laws when its lawyers sent MobileIron notices that the software company was, itself, allegedly infringing BlackBerry’s own patents.

The Hueston Hennigan team includes John Hueston, Moez Kaba, Doug Dixon, Christy Von der Ahe Rayburn, Joseph Reiter, Michael Todisco, Linda Xu and Neil Anderson.
